Brad Sandford is a Partner in the International Projects, Energy and Infrastructure group and Head of Project Finance at Trowers & Hamlins LLP. He is a Middle East specialist with significant experience in structuring and closing financings and re-financings in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East. The primary focus of Brad’s practice is advising on the financing of social infrastructure, utilities and energy projects such as wind, solar, water and waste to energy in the Middle East (with a significant track record in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Kuwait and Oman). Brad’s experience includes advising on many of the landmark transactions executed in the Middle East over the last ten years. During his career, Brad has worked as a lawyer in Dubai, London, Munich and Tokyo. Due to his market-leading experience and his pragmatic approach, Brad is regarded as a “go-to” trusted advisor by clients and colleagues globally. Recently seconded to Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) in Tokyo for three years, Brad was the sole lawyer advising the Social Infrastructure Finance Department at JBIC on a wide range of projects of global importance.
