Adam Smith is the Managing Director of Polypipe Middle East – the region’s leading provider of climate and water management solutions.
In the late -1990s, Adam began his professional career in the United Kingdom where he qualified as a City & Guilds engineer followed by several roles in the construction and FM industry. He then looked towards manufacturing for a change in employment, securing a position at the Polypipe Group, later known as the Genuit Group – one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of climate and water management solutions.
In 2010, Adam moved to the Middle East to broaden the business’ market presence. Under his leadership, Polypipe Middle East has achieved significant growth and expansion. The company has launched several new product lines and expanded its reach across key markets in the GCC and beyond. It has also received several awards for its contributions to sustainability, including Manufacturer of the Year, Green Building Product of the Year, and its 8th consecutive RoSPA Gold Medal.
With over 25 years of experience in engineering and manufacturing, Adam is committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that meet customers’ evolving needs when creating healthy and safe spaces for us to live and work. Adam is also involved in supporting organisations such as CIBSE, SoPHE and CESC – Heriot Watt University Dubai.
